VisionFriendly.com’s Education Division is like a company within a company
It is made up of:
HistoryOver the years VisionFriendly.com has grown into a full Internet service provider. In 2006 VisionFriendly.com (VFS) worked with School District 129 to re-develop their web site. Ultimately VFS became the district’s total Internet provider, maintaining all their websites, maintaining their web servers, and providing on-going video services.
As part of the process, VisionFriendly developed knowledge and tools enabling VFS to provide special education capabilities few other internet companies had. As other districts joined the VisionFriendly family the business model became clear.
By developing systems and techniques, VisionFriendly can offer other districts custom quality web sites and better web solutions at a lower cost than anyone else in the industry.
For sure there are lower cost companies that cater to education institutions, but few if any can offer the quality, support, the broad selection of services and vast array of solutions found at VisionFriendly.com.
A Staff Dedicated to EducationThe Education division is made up of designers and developers whose primary responsibility is to support school districts. Each district has an experienced Account Manager who is the primary interface. Reporting to him/her is at least one designer, one Information Architect and one developer/programmer, all with experience in education. In addition the Account Manager has full access to VisionFriendly’s Technology team, Video department and Administration staff.
The project manager, lead designer, information architect and developer are all dedicated to the education industry, with other staff members included as needed.
