Setting up Netscape Mail
We suggest you print out this section and work from the printout.

1. In Netscape click on "Edit and then Preferences" on the main menu bar.
2. Then click on "Mail and News Preferences" in the menu that pops down.
3. Click on "Identity".
4. Enter your name and email address.
   
   
   
   
5. Click on the "Mail Servers"
6. The POP Server (Incoming mail) should be set to mail.domainname.com or if you don't have a domain name enter mail.xlinet.com
   
   
   
   
7. The SMTP Server (Outgoing mail) should be set to mail.xlinet.com.
8. The Local Mail directory should default to the one that was set up when you installed Netscape.

• You also might like to check the Newsgroup Server at this time. It should be set to news.xlinet.com.
