Mobile Computing
Our mobile options provide a new experience that connects you more closely with your customers when they are on the go; allowing them to get easy access to your products through your mobile website wherever and whenever they want. When someone types in your URL on their hand-held mobile device, they'll automatically be redirected to the mobile edition of your website.
Now, there are few important areas you do need to appreciate if you don't already. First the iPhone screen is 320 pixels by 480 pixels. And on many other smart phones the screen is even smaller. That is about 1/3 of the size of the screen we are using now for a computer screen display (1024 X 768). That becomes just the first hurdle for us as we work to recreate your site.
In addition, smart phones do not yet support Flash. So we will need to keep to the basics. Video of course is available and phones are a great place for podcasting.
As valuable as this technology is, the cost is not very different than that of developing a standard web site. However, the less import pages or small and simple pages can still be used as part of phone site unchanged. So we only need to focus on the primary pages which we have outlined below.
